BEFORE YOU BUY: BE AWARE! Some manufacturers use “up to” SEER2 efficiency ratings on their documentation. PECO rebates are not based on “up to” ratings, but on actual, whole-system ratings. Ask your contractor if the equipment is eligible for a PECO rebate before purchasing. We’re also here to help! Email us [email protected] if you have further HVAC rebate questions.
Rebates for heating and cooling equipment are based on ENERGY STAR criteria. The equipment is rated as a whole system by the Air Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) with ratings designated as SEER2, EER2, and HSPF2.
Rebates for customers with PECO Electric service
- ENERGY STAR Air Source Heat Pump - Up to $300 in rebates
- ENERGY STAR Central Air Conditioning - Up to $200 in rebates
- ENERGY STAR Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pump - Up to $300 in rebates

- Eligible for all ECM Fan Motor equipped Air Handlers or Natural Gas Furnaces (Propane and oil furnaces are not eligible)
Rebates for customers with PECO Natural Gas service
Natural gas residential rebate levels will be reduced for all rebate requests submitted on or after October 1, 2026, 12:00 am (EST), to support the program's continued availability and manage increased demand. All rebates, regardless of installation or purchase date, will be processed using the adjusted rebate levels. All other applicable terms and conditions of this program remain unchanged and are available within the rebate portal and PDF applications.

- Conversion of main or sole heating fuel source to natural gas
Rebate Process
- Refer to your proposal/invoice to verify that your equipment is ENERGY STAR® certified and meets all criteria in the above chart.
- Verify other eligibility requirements:
- Product must be new, meet Efficiency Requirements, and installed in a residence that currently receives PECO residential electric or natural gas service (based on the fuel type for the equipment installed).
- Application for equipment purchased/installed must be received within 90 days of purchase/install.
- Application must include a paid receipt with the model number, manufacturer, purchase price, and purchase date.
- Apply in one of 3 ways:
- Ask your contractor to submit a rebate application on your behalf.
- Submit an online application.
- Mail the application PDF.
